On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to welcome all of you to the International LED and Green Lighting workshop 2012. The workshop is held at KINTEX, Koyang, Korea from June 26 through June 28, 2012. This workshop is the tenth in the series initiated in 2003. The workshop has been organized by LED EXPO since 2003 and by the Korea Society of Optoelectronics since 2011. This workshop follows the tradition of the previous workshops and focuses on the most recent international advances in LED and OLED researches, which are to be discussed by only invited experts in the fields, either from academia or companies worldwide. The objective of this workshop is to provide a forum for leading researchers to exchange their knowledge by presenting the most updated and timely results and by performing in-depth technological discussion. We hope that all of the participants will be able to enrich their knowledge and to get enlightened through stimulating discussion during the workshop.

We would like to thank all the invited speakers for their contribution and efforts. We hope those who are from overseas have a pleasant stay in the beautiful city of Seoul and experience the richness of our culture even in your short stay.
